Lucky Boy looks like it should be condemned and demolished, not serving people food. But you can't beat these prices and these cooks. The same two people have run this restaurant for years, and have gained a loyal following. GCCB plusses for a toasted bun and super cheap menu.

Standard Nobel-Sysco diner fare here. The spindly little 1/4 pound burger is cooked perfectly though, is hot and juicy and smothered in cheese and green chile. The overall taste greatly exceeds the sum of it's parts.

The burger you're looking for here is dubbed the "Fudd 66", and it gets high scores across the board. Three different patty sizes to choose from, and cooked to order. Gobs of hot green chile. Fuddruckers also gets tons of bonus points: they bake their own buns here. You choose your own fixings at the "salad bar". At least a dozen options available as condiments, including A1 Steak Sauce and "red chile mayonaise".

Nice sized patty, not overcooked and not overly kneaded. Odd that they put the green chile on the side. The burger gets a little soggy after a bit but it's still tasty. Garcia's has some of the best green chile in Albuquerque, and this location does not disappoint.
