Standard Nobel-Sysco diner fare here. The spindly little 1/4 pound burger is cooked perfectly though, is hot and juicy and smothered in cheese and green chile. The overall taste greatly exceeds the sum of it's parts.

The burger you're looking for here is dubbed the "Fudd 66", and it gets high scores across the board. Three different patty sizes to choose from, and cooked to order. Gobs of hot green chile. Fuddruckers also gets tons of bonus points: they bake their own buns here. You choose your own fixings at the "salad bar". At least a dozen options available as condiments, including A1 Steak Sauce and "red chile mayonaise".

Nice sized patty, not overcooked and not overly kneaded. Odd that they put the green chile on the side. The burger gets a little soggy after a bit but it's still tasty. Garcia's has some of the best green chile in Albuquerque, and this location does not disappoint.

I know many people love Blake's, so I'm a bit surprised at this rating. Perhaps it will increase in the future. Minuses to this score: No options to dine in, everybody eats out of a bag whether you want to or not. There's a salad under my thin little 4 oz patty, with so many pickles I can hardly taste anything else. Pluses for the spicy chile, hot fries and hot burger, even though it's fast food.

The legendary Frontier serves up the Fiesta Burger. Their fantastic green chile doesn't get a full 10 because it's chopped (I prefer the full chile on mine). Bonus for the sesame seed toasted bun. It may not look like it in the photo, but the thin patty tastes preformed and frozen. The cheese is shredded cheddar. The fries are super crispy fries and coated with the breading remnants of everything else they've been deep frying all day... mmmm mmmm...

I'm not gonna lie about the Ranchero Burger from Bob's, you're not coming here for the burger, you're coming here for the green chile. The fabulously hot and spicy chopped green chile sauce and gooey gooey shredded American processed cheese. The rest of the burger is the bland generic food service provided ingredients you find at most restaurants, but who cares? The green chile masks all of those inadequacies.
